Being Grateful

After burying a teenage daughter, much hand-twisting over my other daughters 5 heart operations, having a sister that I loved betray me and enduring the continued fall-out from Wall Street wrecking the economy, I must be careful to remind myself of what I have to be grateful for.

I’m grateful for my loving, generous, talented and wise husband.  I’m grateful for my beautiful, sensitive, intelligent and loving daughter.  I’m grateful for the companionship and protection of our superb dogs.  I’m grateful for friends that have been there for me for over 30 years.  I’m grateful for my creativity.  I’m grateful for the solace of the woods.
